Meet strongman swimmer Ross Edgley

“I’m motivated by stories of human endurance, outside of the parameters of sporting events and races. You only have to sit in the Mess to hear countless stories of endurance, often sleep deprived and under enemy fire.” Ross Edgely

I met adventure athlete Ross, best known for his Superman-esque swims hauling a gigantic log in his wake (who's also an absolutely lovely bloke), ahead of his 100km 48-hour non-stop swim at CTCRM, where the Royal Marines' inspiring values were having a morale boosting effect on him.

In 2018 he will attempt a non-stop 100-day swim around the coast of Great Britain and the longest ocean swim, ever.
